SmartIO Modbus 8R4D4A is a smart I/O module designed for remote control and monitoring needs in industrial automation systems. Working over Modbus RTU it integrates easily into your existing systems; you control loads with its 8 relay outputs while monitoring system parameters with 4 digital and 4 analog inputs.

The SmartIO Modbus 8R4D4A is a smart I/O module with 8 relay outputs, 4 digital inputs and 4 analog inputs, controlled via Modbus RTU over RS485.
There are 8 SPDT relay outputs. Each contact carries 10 A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC, and AC and DC resistive and inductive loads can be switched.
The 4 digital inputs are 24 VDC level, support NPN and PNP sensors and respond in under 10 ms. The 4 analog inputs measure 0–30 V with 16-bit resolution and ±0.1 % full-scale accuracy.
The module is powered from 24 VDC (±20 %) and draws 3 W with relays off and 12 W with all relays on. It has reverse-polarity protection and mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail.
The module connects to the RS485 (Modbus) line of an AirHMI display or Panel PC; relays are switched from the screen interface and inputs are monitored on the display. It also works with any PLC or computer acting as a Modbus RTU master.
